We are all trapped in a L Frank Baum fantasy. We have followed the yellow brick road to the Emerald City. The mainstream media relishes in telling us that we on the right are being led by a scarecrow with no brain (Sarah Palin) a cowardly lion that succumbs to the pressures of the polls (Mitt Romney) and the legacy of the tin man with no heart (George Bush) that put us in the position that we still need to be rescued by the Great and Powerful OZ. It is all smoke and mirrors. When we peel back the curtain we find we would be in better shape if we still had the tin man in charge.
The President says we have hit a bump in the road. We have left the road and have been in the weeds for the last two years. When he came into office we were told if we needed to have a trillion dollars or the unemployment rate would be as high as 9% (a). We could have saved the trillion with our 9.1% we have now. We were told we had two unjust wars and now we are fighting on three fronts. Could you imagine the the call for impeachment if George Bush would have pulled the same shenanigans to get us into Libya?
Now the most transparent President ever has mislead us on the auto bailout(b).
